To make grocery store customers more aware of their carbon footprint, an in-store informative campaign was created to help people be more conscious of their food choices and a concept called “Food Miles”. This approach included an in-store food stand which would be placed in the produce section, with hanging signs positioned above to inform customers of the display from a distance. Explanatory pamphlets would be found to educate customers on how buying local groceries can affect their carbon footprint and help build a stronger community.
